There is a marked difference in the male lead (Malcolm) from when he first appeared in
Claimed by the Pack . In that story he was edgier, craftier and a larger force to deal with. Heck, I had some serious trouble figuring out who I wanted to cheer for. In Rogue Alpha, Malcolm is tame, but this fact doesn't change the fact that this was a good read. The heroine is competent and there isn't any want to reach through the pages to give her a good smack. Storyline is a bit rushed but there isn't any skimping on the lovey dovey scenes. Overall rating is 3.25
